Canyon Pilots Help Return Flight Instruction To Wellsboro Johnston Airport!!!


The Canyon Pilots Association is pleased to announce that private pilot flight instruction will once again be available at the Wellsboro Johnston Airport in Tioga County Pa., N38.  Rob Clark, whose ratings include: commercial, instrument, multi-engine, CFI and CFII is an instructor for Skyline Air of Elmira NY.   Rob comes from a family of pilots and began flying at the age of 15. Rob worked as a flight instructor at Meriden
Aviation in Meriden, Connecticut for several years and is currently safety officer for Squadron 339 (Grand Canyon Composite) of CAP.  Rob's day job is an assistant professor of anthropology in the department of social work, sociology, and anthropology at Mansfield University. He graduated with his Ph.D from Yale in 2008.

Flight instruction will begin at N38 on August 21st.  An informational meeting will be held at the airport on Tuesday August 10th at 7:00 pm, the public is invited to attend.
