On October 20, 2012 the folks that make up the Benton Airport Community hosted another event at the local airport that many communities would welcome with open arms. There is a local golf course that may draw some folks to Benton but on October 12, the Benton Airport was hosting an event that helps keep the town of Benton on the map. Great food, hay rides for kids, friendly people and aviation brought people to this small rural Pennsylvania town. Below are just a few photos of the aircraft that flew into this community for the day. I hope the town fathers appreciate how a small airport with good support can help their community. Here is tip of the hat to the folks at the Benton Airport for doing a great job of hosting an event that keeps Benton Pa "a town that we remember, thanks to the towns airport."
