Big Crowd Attends Wellsboro Johnston Airport Event

The Canyon Pilots Association with assistance of the Canyon Country Ultralight Club served well over 1,000 breakfasts at their annual Memorial Day fly-in breakfast at the Wellsboro/Johnston airport, located in the heart of Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon country.  Great weather, great food and another great effort by all made this one largest breakfast's ever.

There were a few highlights of the day.  Helicopter rides were available beginning at 10:00am.  The Robinson R-44 pilot was still giving rides well into the afternoon.  There was a light sport instructor there from Lock Haven giving Discovery Flights and a few folks learned that there is now flight instruction available at N38.
A big thank you to everyone who helped!!  There are too many folks to name but you know who you are.  Thank you and please enjoy the photos below:

Hungry folks joined a line almost 100 yard long.  The line moves quickly and nobody seems to mind the wait as aircraft fly in and out while they wait
